I received my Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell campus in 2003 and my advanced degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Regis College in 2006. As a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, I earned the distinguished Board Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) credential. This certification, rare among practitioners in Massachusetts, underscores my exceptional expertise in aesthetic medicine. Early in my career, I worked for several years at a prominent Medical Spa on Newbury Street, focusing on facial aesthetics.

Since then, my practice settings have brought me to some of the top hospitals and communities in New England: family practice, specialty care, surgical subspecialties, and intensive care. This diverse exposure gave me a deep understanding of how to deliver high-quality, compassionate care at all levels.

Life always comes full circle, though, and founding Face Forward reflects a return to my true passion. I love helping you look and feel your best and watching the confidence boost! I have strict attention to detail and a strong design aesthetic, and my goal is to make sure you are treated like family.

Amy Gyles-McInerney

Licensed Medical Aesthetician

Amy is our Licensed Medical Aesthetician/Laser Technician and has been practicing in the skincare field since 1994. Her experience working with some of the area's top Dermatologists, along with her extensive training and knowledge of laser procedures, sets her apart. She has a sincere passion for healthy skin and enjoys walking her patients through their skincare journey to looking and feeling their best. Amy’s education-based approach starts at the consultation. This is where she will customize a treatment program and product regimen designed to each individual's needs and desired outcome.

Through the years, Amy has been able to build a volume of trusting patients that rely on her to give the best advice on their skincare needs. When she learned of Face Forward’s emphasis on putting patient education and individualized care first, she knew she wanted to be a part of our team.

Amy lives in Acton, MA, with her husband, two teenage daughters, and their dog. During her free time, you will find her cheering for her daughters at their cross country and track meets. The whole family likes to spend as much time as possible outside enjoying nature – all while wearing plenty of sun protection, of course!

Lucy Sanford

Nurse Practitioner

Lucy is an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Lucy knew nursing was her true calling, and she completed the accelerated nursing program at Regis College in 2016. After a captivating preceptorship with a Dermatologist, her passion for skincare and aesthetics began.

After one year in Primary Care, Lucy worked for a popular corporate Med Spa just south of Boston starting in 2017. There, she learned a variety of non-invasive aesthetic procedures and quickly became their Lead Medical Provider. Lucy shares Face Forward’s “patient first” mentality. Her empathetic and caring approach aligns perfectly with our emphasis on top-notch, patient-focused care. Lucy is conscientious, detail-oriented, technically skilled, and above all, dedicated to making every patient feel confident and cared for.

Lucy lives in Braintree with her fiancé Matt. She loves traveling and living life to the fullest, spending as much time as possible with family and friends. Growing up on the North Shore near Newburyport, Lucy loves being close to the water. Lucky for her, her fiancé has always been a water lover too, and they spend most of their summer weekends on Cape Cod. Besides her passion for dermatology and aesthetics, Lucy also loves interior decorating and home design and even has a couple of fixer-uppers under her belt.
